FAQs

WHEN WILL MY COFFEE ROAST?

Our goal is to give your coffee to the shipper within 24 hours of its roast date.

We roast our coffees Monday-Wednesday and are closed Thur-Sun.

The cut-off time for roasting is 12pm each day. If an order is place after that, it'll be roasted the next day. If ordered after 12pm Wednesday, it will be roasted the following Monday. This also applies to subscriptions.

Please Note: Our shipping partners (USPS or UPS) provide estimates for shipping timelines based on best efforts by the shipper and packages may arrive later due to logistical delays.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Any cancellations made after 14 days of service will not qualify for a refund. You will be responsible for your return shipping. You are entitled to a refund up to 7 days from purchase.

MY ORDER ARRIVED DAMAGED; WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please email our support team at info@q29roastery.com with

  • your order number and shipping address
  • a photo of the damaged item
  • and a photo of the shipping box

so we can assist you and report this to our Warehouse. We'll get you sorted right away!

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Please reach out as soon as possible at info@q29roastery.com if you would like to cancel an order. To speed up the process, be sure to include your order number.

We are not able to guarantee your order will be cancelled but we will do our best to make any changes requested.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY COFFEE AND HOW LONG DOES IT STAY FRESH?

The bags that we ship our coffee in are excellent at keeping the coffee fresh by keeping out the three major factors of coffee aging which are light, moisture, and air. So as long as they remain unopened, your coffee will remain delicious for 60 days after being roasted.

Once opened, we recommend using the coffee within 21 days. In our experience, the distinct and complex flavors that characterize our coffees will tend to have faded after that point.

Store your coffee in a cool, dry place, away from heat and light, and either in its original packaging, or in an airtight container.

We don't recommend storing beans in the refrigerator and can only recommend storage in the freezer under specific circumstances (namely long term, uninterrupted periods). The levels of moisture present in the refrigerator and freezer can greatly accelerate flavor loss.
